Psychic Provides New Location Claims in Madeleine McCann Investigation

Authorities are currently reviewing new claims regarding the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, the British girl who vanished from a Portuguese resort in 2007. Michael Schneider, a 50-year-old psychic, has asserted that he has provided investigators with the precise coordinates of where the girl’s remains are buried.

According to Schneider, the location is in a wooded area situated approximately six miles from the Praia da Luz resort where Madeleine was last seen. Earlier this year, Schneider reportedly passed these details on to investigators at the German Federal Criminal Police Office. Senior Prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters confirmed that his team is aware of the claims and has noted that they have looked into information provided by various sources throughout the long-running investigation.

Schneider has gained recent attention for his involvement in several missing persons cases in Germany and Italy. Among his documented successes, he reportedly assisted in locating a missing woman in Germany and facilitated the discovery of the bodies of an Italian couple, Peter Neumayr and Laura Percelli. Describing his methodology, Schneider explains that he examines photographs of missing individuals and consults maps in an attempt to pinpoint their locations. He maintains that he does not accept payment for his efforts and is deeply aware of the heavy responsibility associated with making such sensitive claims.

The disappearance of three-year-old Madeleine McCann on May 3, 2007, remains one of the most high-profile missing persons cases in history. While the original Portuguese police investigation closed in 2008, the search has continued for over a decade through private investigators and Operation Grange, the dedicated investigation launched by Scotland Yard in 2011.

While the parents of Madeleine have vowed to never abandon hope, authorities are currently focusing their inquiry on a primary suspect. Investigators have identified a 44-year-old German man, Christian Bruckner, as the individual they believe is responsible for the abduction and murder of the young girl in Portugal.
