Puppy’s Tragic Rescue: Lost to Illness
Upon receiving an urgent report of an abandoned animal, Paw Squadron immediately mobilized to provide assistance. However, their search for the exact location of the dumpster proved difficult, leading them to comb the entire neighborhood. During their search, they heard the cries of a puppy emanating from one of the locations. This puppy was the sole survivor, in desperate need of help, having been left without food or water on a clear, sunny day.
The team swiftly rescued the puppy and administered necessary nourishment and care. They then transported him to their shelter, where he received a warm bath and began his recovery. At the shelter, the puppy found solace in the company of a new canine friend, which helped alleviate some of the trauma he had endured.
Despite this companionship, the puppy remained critically ill, unable to retain any food. Concerned about his deteriorating health, the rescuers sought professional help at a veterinary clinic. There, it was discovered he had a high fever and was diagnosed with both coronavirus and parvovirus.
Sadly, his condition was critical, requiring intensive treatment, and his prognosis was poor. Despite their valiant efforts, the rescuers were ultimately unable to save the puppy. The loss deeply affected them, as they knew they had exhausted all possibilities but had found him too late.
