Puppy’s Plea Leads to Siblings’ Rescue
In a deserted area, we found a puppy lying motionless, but thankfully, still breathing. What struck us most was its unusually large belly, as if it had swallowed a basketball.
As soon as the dog saw us, it managed to get to its feet and started to move, albeit unsteadily.
Instead of running away, however, the puppy seemed to be guiding us somewhere.
To our astonishment, it led us to a makeshift shelter nearby.
There, we discovered two more puppies; they appeared extremely hungry and dirty, their small bodies shivering from cold and fear. We immediately brought all three back to the station for a veterinary examination. Miraculously, the puppy with the swollen belly recovered, and its two underfed companions began to adapt to their new surroundings. Little by little, they accepted our care, opening their tiny hearts to the affection we offered.
