Thor’s Grimy Rescue: A New Start
Thor, a pit bull living in complete neglect, has been rescued by a police team. Upon arrival, the team found Thor confined in a small, dirty room, surrounded by his own excrement and lacking food and water.
The room was so unsanitary that some of the waste had begun to mold.
Thor’s health was in a critical condition.
He had numerous wounds on his skin, his left eye was missing and infected, and he was severely underweight, looking skeletal.
The dog’s owner asserted that Thor injured his eye while attempting to escape through a gate, hitting it on a nail. The owner also characterized Thor as aggressive, seemingly to rationalize the dire living conditions. Despite the owner’s description, Thor exhibits a gentle nature, displaying a calm temperament even while suffering from hunger and distress. This rescue signifies a fresh start for Thor and other animals rescued from comparable circumstances.
