My teammates and I recently experienced a heartbreaking tragedy involving Daise, a dog we rescued and brought into our family about a year ago. What started as an exciting time, with Daise expecting her first litter, soon turned to sorrow when complications during birth resulted in the loss of both puppies. As the days went by, we continued to shower Daise with love and care, understanding that healing would be a slow process. Her remarkable resilience and deep maternal instincts serve as a reminder of the profound bond between a mother and her children, even when confronted with the harshest realities. Standing by Daise as she heals, we feel her pain deeply, knowing that recovery will demand patience, compassion, and time.
