⚠️⚠️⚠️Hey there! This is my first post to this group, so I want to start this off my saying I’m on MOBILE, English isn’t my first language, and I’ll keep this short since someone is sleeping next to me at this very moment. Hot pay attention to the tags I left off this group to make my post compliant with the rules 😅
Hi Emily, welcome to the group! Don’t worry about your English—it’s perfectly fine! We’re glad you’re here and ready to share your story. Just a quick FYI for future reference: anyone reading your post can see the tags even if you leave them out explicitly, so it’s always good to consider them when writing. But no worries for this time—your post looks compliant! 🙌 Looking forward to hearing what’s on your mind! 😊Okay, here’s the second part of the story and a conclusion, keeping in mind the mobile format and the need to be brief:

Okay, let me give you a quick rundown: I’m [Tag: AskReddit], and I’m here to [Tag: share a story]. Here goes.
Last night was weird. Like, *really* weird. I woke up to this… humming. Not a normal humming, but like, a deep, vibrating drone that went right through me. I was disoriented and couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. My apartment is small, so I searched everywhere. Nothing.
Then, the humming intensified. It felt like something was *inside* the walls. Suddenly, my phone buzzed. I scrambled for it, heart pounding. The screen showed a text from an unknown number: “They’re watching. Don’t look up.”
I immediately looked up, of course. The ceiling fan, usually a silent friend, began shaking violently. I thought it was going to fall. Then, lights flickered, and my neighbor’s dog started to howl. The drone grew louder, and a cold dread began to creep over me. I got under the covers and sent a text. I texted my best friend, [Tag: random], and texted the exact same text back, since the text could have been about me.
I waited and waited until finally the humming stopped. The house was silent. Then silence. Too quiet. I’ve heard that you should wait to move after a situation like that. After a while I decided to venture out of my bed. Everything seemed normal. Too normal.
In the morning I checked my text messages. The message was, well, I’d sent it to myself. The second text had come back. [Tag: Mystery]. What happened?

**Conclusion:**
Days later, the original text was deleted from my phone. I don’t know who sent it, or what they meant. Maybe it was a prank? Maybe it was something else entirely. Whatever it was, it’s changed me, and I do feel, as they say, under the watch of something. Still, I haven’t looked up since.
