Stepmom delivers special wedding vows to four-year-old – his reaction makes me cry
Nothing can make you cry with delight like a wedding.
Four-year-old Gage fought to control his emotions when his father, US Marine Corps sergeant Joshua Newville, married Senior Airman Emily Leehan in Ripley, New York, and had to learn that lesson the hard way.
Little Gage was doing a great job of maintaining order. That is, until the wife of his father read the vows she had written just for him. Put the breakdown in line.
Being by his father’s side as he exchanged vows with his future wife, Senior Airman Emily Leehan, was a momentous moment in Gage Newville’s life.
The four-year-old was unaware that Leehan had created a special set of vows just for him, though. Gage found it hard to handle when she presented them in front of an already emotional crowd.

As soon as Leehan started performing, Gage started crying uncontrollably. Leehan said, according to the Daily Mail, “I want you to be safe, to try your hardest, and to be a good person.”
Gage, however, had already wrapped his arms around her and was overcome with emotion before she could finish.
As Leehan attempted to calm him down, the audience let out a collective ‘awwww’ as was to be expected. “Don’t cry baby,” she commanded, though it’s safe to assume that Gage might have been excused at that moment for letting up on his punishment.

“The last thing I hope you learn is that you are a special boy,” Leehan continued. “You are incredibly intelligent, attractive, and compassionate. Although I may not have given you the gift of life, life gave me the gift of you, and you have helped mold me into the woman I am today.
Unsurprisingly, before they could complete wedding vows, both Leehan and Newville started to cry. Regarding Gage, He did a great job of stealing the stage, if not for his dashing suit and staring at Leehan as she began her vows, then for a response that will undoubtedly win hearts everywhere.
