Joseph McElderry, a South Shields native, stunned the judges with his incredible performance during his 2009 X Factor round. For his audition, he performed the song “Dance With My Father.” Despite having no prior experience, he gave a fantastic performance before joining the show. He was even able to wow the judges with his voice and charisma.
