How to Responsibly Manage a Temporary Bee Swarm
When you encounter a large swarm of bees, there is no need to panic, call the fire department, or contact the police. If you see a cluster of bees like this, your best course of action is to simply remain calm and stay still. These bees are likely just on a migratory journey and have stopped to rest for a period of only about 24 hours.
Do not attempt to harm or kill them. If you wish to assist them while they rest, you can place a shallow plate or tray filled with sugar water nearby. This will provide the bees with the energy they need to continue their travels before they depart on their own.
It is important to remember that we all have a responsibility to protect migratory bees, as they serve as our survival insurance. The health of our ecosystem is deeply tied to their existence, and without bees, the future of humanity would be at significant risk.
