Son Accused of Murdering Newsmax Makeup Artist Mother
A Virginia man is accused of murdering his mother, a Newsmax makeup artist who worked for Greta Van Susteren.
Police in Arlington, Va., accused Logan Chrisinger, 27, of having shot and killed his mother, Travis Renee Baldwin, 57, inside a residence.
Officers were called to the home on the morning after a report of a shooting.
«Upon arrival, officers located an adult female inside a residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound,» Arlington County police said. «Officers administered lifesaving measures before medics transported her to a local hospital. She later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.»
Police described the shooting as a «domestic-related homicide.»
Chrisinger was on scene when police arrived, according to the department. He is charged with first-degree murder, aggravated malicious wounding and using a firearm in the commission of a felony.
It is not immediately clear if Chrisinger has entered a plea or retained an attorney.
