A Woman Who Became A “Vampire” By Covering Entire Body In Tattoos Issues Warning
Maria José Cristerna, known as the “real-life vampire,” holds the Guinness World Record for the most bodily alterations, with 50 modifications including tattoos, piercings, implants, and a split tongue. She began her transformation at 14 and attributes it to overcoming an abusive marriage, using her body as a form of self-expression and advocacy for abuse survivors.
While she embraces her unique look, Cristerna advises young people to carefully consider body modifications, as they are permanent. Despite this, she continues adding to her collection, recently sharing a new tattoo on Instagram.
