Guideline for Managing Migratory Bee Swarms

If you encounter a swarm of bees, there is no need for panic, and you should certainly not call the fire department or the police. In such moments, the best course of action is to remain still and avoid disturbing them.

These swarms are typically just migratory bees taking a brief respite. They are usually only stopping to rest for approximately 24 hours before continuing on their journey. If you wish to assist them, you can place a flat dish or tray filled with sugar water nearby. The bees will consume the mixture to regain their strength, and once they have rested and replenished their energy, they will naturally fly away.

It is important to remember our collective responsibility to protect these migratory bees, as they serve as a form of survival insurance for our planet. The reality is that without bees, the sustainability of human life on Earth would be in serious jeopardy.
