One contestant, Chelsea, who was seven years old, sang Alicia Keys’s “Girl On Fire” on the singing competition The Voice Kids. Chelsea made the correct choice in coming! Inviting the young performer to continue playing on their respective teams, two of the three judges turned to her as soon as the first few notes were played and hit the red button. The attention of the third judge quickly shifted to the female.
All it is just a dream. We can all recognize this song from the way this 3-year-old sings it. She plays with such assurance and precision, as if she has been honing her craft for years. Seeing such promise in someone so young is astonishing. Perhaps we are seeing the beginning of a star’s career. Regardless, it’s a touching sight to observe.
Two of the judges, clearly astonished by Chelsea’s abilities, dropped to their knees as the song came to a close.
