Horses Nap So Hard, They Snore Like Saws!
We have all experienced the feeling of a truly, truly good nap. You know that warm and cozy sensation under the blankets, like you’re lying on a cloud soaring through the night sky. You just want to roll around and keep sleeping forever. For some reason, I’ve always felt this was a uniquely human trait, and that animals seem to wake up faster. It turns out, however, I was mistaken – especially after seeing this wonderful clip (below)!
Indeed, there are many animals that can sleep like a log. At least that’s what a farmer noticed one morning when he couldn’t find his horses in their usual spots. He grew worried and searched for them. Eventually, he found his animals in the yard, but he became even more worried. The horses were lying on the ground in a way they never had before when it was bright outside. He took a closer look – and finally understood what was happening. Although it was late morning and the farm was operating at full speed, these cuties had not woken up yet.
They were still fast asleep – something that became clear to the farmer when he got closer. They were snoring so loudly it sounded like someone was sawing wood. The horses didn’t notice their owner approaching, even as he filmed with his phone’s camera – the land of dreams was calling them! The farmer, however, couldn’t stop himself from laughing when he realized it was a sleep party! Perhaps they had been up and running all night? In any case, the snoring never stopped!
