Clint Eastwood is currently hard at work on his upcoming project as a director, but it might be the last one in which we see him.
Rumor has it that the venerable Hollywood actor will retire from acting after his upcoming movie, Juror #2, a thriller set in a courtroom.
Discussing Film reports that insiders with knowledge of the actor’s plans have revealed that his upcoming project may be the last of a long and fruitful career.
If Juror #2 is made, Eastwood will have directed 40 movies. In addition to Letters from Iwo Jima and Flags of Our Fathers (2006), Million Dollar Baby (2004), American Sniper (2014), and Sully (2016), the 92-year-old director and actor most recently worked on the 2021 film Cry Macho, which he also starred in.
Sources claim that Juror #2 will concentrate on a man who was called to a murder trial only to learn that he might be responsible for the victim’s demise.
The juror “must wrestle with the choice of whether to reveal the truth and turn himself in or to manipulate the jury in order to save himself,” as the trial goes on.
Warner Bros. is working on Juror #2, according to Discussing Film. Throughout most of his illustrious career, Eastwood has collaborated with the studio.
The movie has reportedly been “internally billed” as the Dirty Harry actor’s farewell motion film, although other rumors indicate that he might come back.
The actor-turned-director is undoubtedly busy, yet he finds time to have fun by severely restricting his job responsibilities. Francesca Eastwood, Clint Eastwood’s daughter, recently remarked on what a fantastic grandfather dad has been.
Titan’s grandpa was pictured with the megastar, and she wrote the caption “Best dad.” The very best grandfather. The similarities between the two were quickly brought out in the comments.
Lowell Tomas Murray, the son of Laurie Murray, Clint’s daughter, has opened up about his paternal grandfather. On Eastwood’s persona, he made a comment and said, “All I would say is that he’s been a great father to my mum, and always great to me and my family whenever we see him.”
You may not know this about me, but I’d like Clint Eastwood to continue making movies forever. He has such a special talent!
