But, fortunately, there are places on Earth where people still know how to ideally coexist with these wonderful creatures.

A special bond based on respect, trust and care. And whenever a helpless animal finds itself in a difficult situation, people know that it needs help. It’s the same with a baby giraffe that was rescued from drowning in Kenya.

For reasons unknown, in Kenya, a baby giraffe became stranded in the middle of the Uaso Nyiro River.

And as it was already hard enough for the helpless creature due to the strong current, this seething river was also full of crocodiles.

Thus, the fate of the baby seemed decided. Nevertheless, help came from where it was least expected.

A group of rangers and local residents heard a frightened giraffe and rushed to her aid.

After a couple of hours, the animal was saved thanks to the heroism of these brave and kind people.

Luckily, one of these lovely people shared some photos of the rescue online for people to show their appreciation.

Unfortunately, some giraffe species have recently been declared endangered.

Among them is the Masai giraffe. It is a subspecies that roams the lands of Kenya and Tanzania and has dwindled to about 35,000 left in the wild over the past three decades.
