37 Dead, 13 Injured as Bus Plunges into Ravine in Southern Peru

At least 37 people have died and 13 were injured after an intercity passenger bus collided with a minibus and plunged into a ravine in southern Peru.

According to Peruvian media reports, the accident occurred in the Ocana region, near the city of Arequipa. Medical and firefighting teams were dispatched to the scene. An investigation into the cause of the accident has been launched.
